What a success!
Thank you to all the volunteers and guests that made Urban Campout a great event.
More than 300 guests participated in a variety of fun interactive activities - archery, segway rides, bolo golf, knot tying, sang campfire songs, roasted s'mores, made arts and crafts and a picture keepsake.
Ilona Carson emceed the event as Tom Koch served as the auctioneer. More than $70,000 was raised the night of the event from its silent and live auction items as well as girl wishes. Girl Wishes are opportunities for guests to sponsor a direct need for the girls, such as a week at camp or workshop materials used for a specific girl program.
GSSJC appreciates all the volunteers who dedicated numerous hours to making the event a success.
Without the volunteers' dedication and financial support from the many
