Resident Camp
Resident Camp is a Council-sponsored, professionally staffed camping program
offered during the summer months. Overnight camping sessions are offered
with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge of the outdoors
in both one-week and two-week sessions. Resident Camp facilities include
Camp Agnes Arnold, Camp Casa Mare, and Camp Misty Meadows.
Breathing fresh air, exploring new challenges, participating in fun activities and learning to work with girls from different places and varied backgrounds are all great reasons for attending resident camp.
At camp, girls can zip down a scenic path on a bicycle, maneuver a canoe around an island, rig a sailboat, SCUBA dive, swim, or ride a horse down a winding trail.
Resident camp is an experience that puts girls in the outdoors away from the noise and distractions of the city. Brownie, Junior, Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts are encouraged to experience the fun and adventure of summer resident camp.
